Design Engineer Construction Machinery (m/w/d)

IHRE AUFGABEN

Development of new design concepts for construction machinery such as cold milling machines, compaction equipment, road pavers and screed systems
Creation of designs and technical specifications for the manufacture and assembly of construction machinery
Conduction of analysis and evaluation procedures to ensure the user-friendliness, performance, reliability and efficiency of the machines
Ensuring compliance with technical and quality requirements based on customer and industry standards
Working closely with the production and development team
Support with testing and prototyping to ensure compliance with industry standards and specific road construction requirements
Evaluation and implementation of improvement suggestions to optimize existing products
Effective communication with the team and stakeholders to ensure a smooth design and development process

University degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Several years of relevant professional experience in the design and development of construction machinery
Experience with CAD software and other design tools
Excellent coordination skills for effective collaboration in a multinational environment and interdisciplinary project teams
Very good command of English (verbal and written)
Strong analytical, problem-solving and team-oriented working skills
