SANY presents its large machines for maximum productivity

Bedburg/Munich, February 2025 – bauma 2025, taking place from April 7 to 13 in Munich, provides the ideal platform to showcase the latest construction machinery technology. SANY will be present with a 3,000-square-metre exhibition stand, where it will display its comprehensive portfolio of excavators, telehandlers, and other high-performance machines. In addition to compact models, SANY is placing a special focus on large machines this year. The latest developments in the eight-tonne and above category offer optimised performance, increased efficiency, and innovative technologies for demanding applications.

Construction machinery is the driving force behind SANY’s success in Europe. In recent years, the company has already achieved remarkable success in this sector. With powerful, economical, and reliable machines, as well as a steadily growing the dealer network, SANY continues to strengthen its market position. The collaboration with the regional platforms – such as SANY subsidiary Putzmeister in the DACH region – opens up completely new opportunities: customers benefit from an expanded product range and comprehensive support. The combination of excavators, cranes, and concrete pumps enables construction projects to be carried out more efficiently and economically. SANY remains committed to growth, offering innovative solutions from a single source.

At bauma, visitors can experience the latest models up close, including updated bestsellers and fully electric alternatives that promote sustainability in the construction industry.

SY135C – Compact, powerful, and versatile

The SY135C is an excavator in the 15-tonne class that has recently undergone extensive revisions. It is designed for jobs requiring both power and manoeuvrability. Its conventional design provides high lifting capacity while offering improved hydraulic performance, making it ideal for urban construction sites, roadwork, and challenging terrain projects.

The redesigned next-generation machine ensures even more efficient weight distribution, while the 10-inch touchscreen allows intuitive control of up to 20 attachments. An optional longer boom (3,000 mm) is available to maximise reach.

Operator comfort has been enhanced with an air-suspension Grammer comfort seat featuring lumbar support and seat heating. Additionally, the higher dozer blade (+100 mm) improves grading performance.

SY155U 2PB – Short-tail machine with adjustable equipment

The SY155U 2PB is a short-tail excavator in the 16-tonne class that stands out for its two-piece-boom, providing exceptional flexibility in confined job sites. Powered by a 78.5 kW Yanmar diesel engine and featuring a 0.6 cbm bucket capacity, this machine is ideal for medium to heavy-duty applications.

A key highlight is the dual hydraulic auxiliary circuits (AUX1, AUX2), allowing simultaneous operation of high-performance attachments. This means that the flow rates of AUX1 (110 L/min) and AUX2 (70 L/min) can be combined to power demanding tools such as a forestry harvester or separators. Additionally, a drain line and complete hydraulic piping are included as standard.

The SY155U 2PB impresses not only with its flexibility and performance but also with modern operating comfort. The updated 7-inch touchscreen display offers intuitive controls and integrates a rearview camera for optimal visibility and increased job site safety. The raised dozer blade (+110 mm) enhances grading efficiency and expands the machine’s versatility.

SY215C NLC 2PB – Maximum reach with a compact undercarriage

The SANY SY215C NLC with two-piece boom (2PB) is a crawler excavator with an operating weight of approximately 22 tonnes and a narrow undercarriage (2,540 mm wide, 500 mm track pads). The machine is designed for easier transport in specific regions, staying within standard transport width regulations, eliminating the need for special permits.

Thanks to its two-piece-boom, the working range is increased by 15%, while the swing radius is reduced by 25%, a crucial advantage in confined spaces. With 129 kW of engine power at 2,200 rpm and a range of comfort features, including a 10-inch touchscreen display, an air-suspension heated seat, and automatic climate control, the machine ensures optimal conditions for long workdays.

A digitally controlled fan reduces noise emissions by 5 dB and lowers fuel consumption by 3%, while standard side and rearview cameras enhance job site safety.

SY215E – The fully electric tracked excavator for emission-free operation

With the SY215E, SANY introduces an innovative alternative in the 23-tonne class. This fully electric tracked excavator features a powerful 150 kW electric motor and a 422 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a zero-emission, low-noise solution for sustainability-conscious customers.

The future of green construction sites is becoming increasingly important, particularly in achieving CO reduction targets. The battery is lightweight and has a high energy density, using a cobalt-free composition – eliminating a major risk in battery supply chains. Compared to diesel models, the SY215E reduces operating costs by 40% and maintenance costs by 60%. Thanks to its DC fast-charging capability, the battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in just 1.5 hours. A 270° camera system and a modern 10-inch touchscreen display complete the operator experience. This machine is one of the first of its kind in Europe, showcasing SANY’s leadership in this machine class.

SY305LC LR – Maximum reach with a  long-reach specification

The SY305LC LR is a machine in the 32-tonne class and a special variant of the tried-and-tested SY305. It is equipped with long-reach equipment for particularly large working areas. With a boom length of 11.8 meters and a stick length of 8 meters, the reach is twice as long as the standard version. This machine is particularly suitable for work on embankments, landfill sites and specialist applications. Thanks to the two additional hydraulic circuits and the preparation for a hydraulic quick coupler, the SY305LC LR offers enormous versatility.

The basic model of the SY305 has already been successfully used in civil engineering projects in Europe for several years and has established itself as a reliable solution in this machine class.

SW956E – The all-electric alternative for efficient material handling

With the SW956E, SANY is launching an all-electric wheel loader in the 20-tonne class that is both powerful and sustainable. This complements the portfolio in which the SW405 diesel variant has already established itself as a successful model.

The machine offers a peak output of 240 kW, powered by a CATL battery with 282 kWh or 350 kWh capacity, which enables a running time of four to six or six to eight hours depending on the variant – 10% longer than comparable competitor models. This once again emphasises SANY’s pioneering role in the electrification of construction machinery.

The CRRC permanent magnet synchronous motor delivers an impressive peak torque of 2,800 Nm, while the tipping load in articulated mode is over 12 tonnes. The helical gearing of the SANY-STE transmission has been optimised to further improve durability and efficiency. This torque leads to enormous pushing forces in loading mode and increases the efficiency of the machine.

A 360° panoramic camera system ensures optimum visibility and greater safety on the construction site. With its emission-free and robust design, the SW956E is a forward-looking choice for companies looking for sustainable and powerful solutions in loading and transport operations or material handling.
